When buying a new construction home, be sure to stay away from the construction site unless you are accompanied by the Builder, Construction Manager, or Superintendent since there are many physical hazards involved if you were to walk the site without their assistance. The workers on the job-site are carrying lumber, stringing wires, shooting nails, spraying drywall compounds, and so on, so it can be a dangerous environment to be in.
Equally as important as the dangers of walking the site without your Builder, his Construction Manager, or Superintendent, is the fact that you don’t want to disrupt the work flow while your home is being built. Also, the subcontractors at work are only able to make changes to your new home if those changes are directly requested to them by the Builder.
Rick, the Builder, or his Construction Manager(s) from Regal Homes will schedule walk-throughs with you throughout the course of construction so you are able to go to the job-site and see the progress of your new home in person. However, if you’d like to visit the site in between those scheduled walk-throughs, please contact our Construction Manager directly. Be sure to always show up to the job-site wearing appropriate clothing, including flat, closed-toe shoes (no flip flops, sandals, or high heels).
