Location, location, location: Spectacular Living Near Jordanelle State Park & Mayflower Mountain Resort

Fishing, boating, swimming, skiing, hiking, and biking – if you like outdoor activities, you’ll love the fact that Regal Homes can build your new home near two of Wasatch County’s’ hottest recreation spots. You’ll enjoy the best in outdoor fun within minutes of your home, whether you live in Windflower in Heber City or Amanti Lago in Park City.

Jordanelle State Park. One of Utah’s more popular state parks, it is convenient to both Salt Lake City and the Wasatch Front. In fact, it’s just a 20-minute drive from our Windflower community in Heber City! Jordanelle State Park offers an array of recreation opportunities including camping, boating, swimming, fishing (trout, bass and perch), and hiking. The park’s two recreation areas, Hailstone and Rock Cliff, straddle the Jordanelle Reservoir. Hailstone, on the west side of the reservoir, is a large developed campground and is a favorite location of boaters and RV campers. Rock Cliff, on the southeast side of the reservoir, is nestled in the tall cottonwoods on the Upper Provo River. It offers camping and a boardwalk.

Home Community in Amanti Lago

Jordanelle Reservoir. Just minutes north of Heber City (and adjacent to our Amanti Lago community!), this 3,068 surface-acre reservoir is the ideal setting for all kinds of water recreation. Jordanelle is Utah’s newest reservoir, constructed in 1992, and it is a favorite of boaters, water skiers, and wave runners. The reservoir has sandy beaches, cabanas, and a children’s play area. It is very popular for watersports and offers good fishing. Boating facilities at Hailstone include two separate boat ramps (one for personal watercraft), an 80-slip marina with utility hookups, fuel dispensing, boat rentals, and a marina store and restaurant.

Home Community in Amanti Lago

Mayflower Mountain Resort. This brand-new resort overlooking the stunning Jordanelle Reservoir is North America’s first world-class alpine village to be developed since 1981. (Just one more reason to move to Amanti Lago!) Scheduled to open in 2024, the Village will have infrastructure that allows skiers and mountain bikers to access the extensive terrain during summer and winter. During the summer, 11 miles of hiking and biking trails connect to the Summit County trail system (with plans to connect to the Wasatch County trail system, too). In winter, there will be 4,300 skiable acres, and the steepest run will be 3,200 vertical feet and 5 miles long (the longest ski run in Utah). The development will include a walkable commercial area with shops and restaurants, too.

Mayflower Mountain Resort

All in all, Wasatch County, Utah is a wonderful place to call home. With its natural beauty, outdoor activities, proximity to ski resorts, good schools, cultural and recreational opportunities, high-quality healthcare, and sense of community, it’s no wonder that so many people are choosing to make it their own.
